Hi Guys,
Why is it that every time I do my food shopping I get in the wrong queue……
even after surveying the scene in detail I manage to pick the wrong line. Yes it’s happened again the customer in front of me has the one particular item that has no bar code, no price, no anything! I huff and puff hop from one foot to the other, raise my eyes to the ceiling all to no avail and my patients is not just wearing thin… the elastics snapped! It’s just at that point that the still small voice (which I don’t really want to listen to at that moment) reminds me PATIENCE wants to help me not forsake me!
James 1v4 (The Message translation) puts it this way “Let it (patience) do it’s work so you become mature, well developed, not deficient in any way”
I’ve realised it’s not a sin to spend time praying for myself and so praying for patience has become another part of my prayer rotine that i’m building into my lifestyle and honestly we should all spend time each day praying for ourselves. I’m sure like me, we need all the help we can get.
Thank God he loves us sooooo much and wants us to have great lives. So go on pray for YOURSELF today… see you at the chekout.
